Getting Started with the Reusable Learning Object Specification System

7. Adding an Image to your RLO Specification

Clicking the “insert/edit image” icon will present an insert/edit image dialogue window. Within this dialogue window clicking the “File Browser” icon opens a file browser which showcases all the images you might have already uploaded within this RLO Specification.

* Within this view there is an “Activity Examples” tab which has a series of images that represent different activities as placeholder images. These can be inserted in to the content to represent any required activity or component.

It is also possible to upload an image by providing an image title, locating the file via the “Browse…” button and then any additional image details such as origin of image. Once these have been provided clicking the “Add new image” button will upload the image to the system and present it for selection.

Clicking the desired image will close the file browser and you should see that the Source and Image description fields have been pre-populated. Clicking the “Ok” button will. Now insert your image into the text field.

If there is the need to edit an existing image click the image and then click the “Insert/Edit Image” button to be presented with the same dialogue box.
