10. Using the Resources and Glossary Sections

The resources and glossary sections of the RLO specification tool allow for the addition of external resources and the creation of a glossary within the finished RLO. These two sections will appear within the last page or section of the finished RLO.

Resources

Add a New Resource

To add a new resource, select the RLO Specification you wish to work on, then scroll down to the “Resources” section and click the “Add New Resource Button”. The user will then be asked to provide a “Resource Title” and “Resource Description”. A Resource URL can be provided which will be presented as a link within the developed RLO.

Editing a Resource

When working on your RLO specification, scroll down to the “Resources” section and click the “Edit” button of the resource you wish to edit. The user is then be presented with the resource with the title, URL and description as editable fields. Any amendments can be made here before clicking the “Edit Resource Entry” button.

Deleting a Resource

When working on your RLO specification, scroll down to the “Resources” section and click the “Delete” button of the resource you wish to delete. The user will be presented with the details of the resource and must click a check box before being presented with a “Delete Resource” button which when clicked will delete the resource from the specification.

Glossary Entries

Add a New Glossary

To add a new resource, select the RLO Specification you wish to work on, then scroll down to the “Glossary” section and click the “Add New Glossary Entry” button. The user will then be asked to provide a “Glossary Term” and “Glossary Definition”. Once the information has been inputted click the “Create Glossary Entry” button to add the glossary entry to the RLO specification.

Editing a Glossary Entry

When working on your RLO specification, scroll down to the “Glossary” section and click the “Edit” button of the glossary entry you wish to edit. The user is then be presented with the glossary term and definition as editable fields. Any amendments can be made here before clicking the “Edit Glossary Entry” button.

Deleting a Glossary Entry

When working on your RLO specification, scroll down to the “Glossary” section and click the “Delete” button of the glossary entry you wish to delete. The user will be presented with the details of the glossary entry and must click a check box before being presented with a “Delete Glossary Entry” button which when clicked will delete the glossary entry from the specification.
